Revised CS 30 for B3 Credit
In Spring 2010, CS 30 will count for B3 credit. The course has been completely revised and restructured.
CS 30 Description
The newly revised CS 30 is titled An Introduction to
Computational Problem Solving. This
course is an introduction to computational problem
solving using a programming language. Students
will learn the syntax and semantics of a language
and apply these to the solution of mathematical
problems. The course is recommended for all who
wish to explore computer science. Students review
mathematical concepts and use them as the basis of
an algorithmic solution during a hands-on lab.
CS 30 Prerequisite
If you have a Math placement of Math 8/10 or a
placement of Math 50/60, then you can take CS 30 to
satisfy B3.
